Going to the chapel...

My little brother is getting married this weekend, so it has had me thinking about what to wear to a summer wedding.  I love the bold colors of the dresses I have come across this summer. I am in the wedding, so my attire is not a concern, but if I were dress shopping for a summer wedding, here are a few dresses I would check out! What is your summer go-to wedding outfit?

I love the draping and simplicity of this dress (Max Studio)

This dress is not for the wall flower. (Piperlime)

Simple cut and great colors (Milly)

The versatility, color options and the price make this dress a sure bet! (Urban Outfitters)

The unexpected way this fabric is put together is so unique and really flattering (Nordstrom)

  1. Great blog, made me think. I am inspired by the women I remember from my childhood. I remember my mom and aunts in sundresses and wedge espadrilles, pantsuits and floppy hats, high-waisted bell bottoms and floral print tops. I remember thinking that Marlo Thomas and Mary Tyler Moore were so cool. Until many of these styles "came back in fashion" my style was all over the place. I'm thrilled that peasant skirts, wide-legged pants and what I suppose is called "boho chic" is readily available now. My goal is to collect enough so that I have sort of a bomb shelter to safeguard me against the inevitable return of the 80's.
